Upcoming Events & Festivals

  • Fall Flower / Sunflower Festival
    Dates: September 13-14 & 20-21
    What to expect: The farm grounds open early (≈ 7 am), with entertainment kicking off later in the morning (≈ 11 am), and the day ending at about 7 pm. 

  • Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze
    Runs all through late September into October (September 26 – October 31, 2025).
    Highlights include: a large corn maze, pumpkin patch, rides, a farm park, access to “pick-your-own” produce. More on special weekend/nighttime activities too. 

  • Friday Night Barn Dance & Dinner
    Mortimer Farms also hosts a barn dance event with live music, line dancing, and farm-to-table food. These are typically on Friday nights (check their calendar for specific dates).


What Mortimer Farms Sells & What You Can Pick Up

If you visit the farm (or their Market & Deli), here’s what you’ll find:

  • Fresh produce: vegetables, berries, melons, corn, etc. They grow many different crops. 

  • Farm staples: milk, eggs, bread, meats, and canned items.

  • Bakery & deli items: on-site bakery and deli open seven days. They offer breakfast, lunch, dinner things made from scratch. 

  • “Pick Your Own” experiences: for certain seasonal items/produce. For example during the Pumpkin Fest, you can pick pumpkins. Last Updated: September 7, 2025

    • As a part of your admission, you will may also enjoy the Farm Park, Animal Encounter, and farm is open for your enjoyment. With admission you will have access to the entire farm to explore, connect to the story of your food, and see firsthand what happens on a farm season to season.
  • Market & Country Store: beyond produce, they have a store with things like pastas, coffee, possibly artisan or local goods. 


Current Happenings & Changes

  • The Nursery in Prescott is being relocated to Mortimer Farms in Dewey. The nursery you may have visited in Prescott is getting a new home, fresh name, and likely a bigger space. 


What to Watch For & Tips

  • Weekends tend to have more entertainment and special features. If you can, go on a Saturday or Sunday during a festival.

  • Early arrival is helpful: gates open early, and you’ll get better choice in produce, pumpkins, etc.

  • If you want quieter time, weekday visits may be less busy.

  • Check their website or social media just before you go—times, pricing, features sometimes change.
